It was installed and ran fine for two years before the sub finally blew. Champaign, IL Geek Squad auto techs (Ryan, Phil, and Josh) are the best. When Ryan went to swap out the the damage sub, he realized they had mistakenly installed it two years ago without wiring BOTH of the voice coils. I had been driving around with 'half' of the sound from this sub. It still sounded really good. That's when they also realized that the 600W amp it had been installed with really wasn't a good match for this sub. They upgraded me to the 800W amp at no charge. Well that amp was actually too powerful for this sub and kept blowing it. While the Comp R 12 did last it ... More - I originally had this paired with the 600W amp.
